What is known about the new sixth-generation fighters announced by Trump.

U.S. President Donald Trump announced that a sixth-generation fighter, the F-47, is being developed in the United States. Two prototypes have already been created by Boeing and Lockheed Martin. This was reported by The War Zone.
Northrop Grumman previously stated that it would withdraw from the project to focus on other opportunities. The news of the Ngad development is considered surprising, as the program was suspended due to cost and relevance. The program was transferred from the Biden administration to the Trump administration due to uncertainty.
According to the publication, the fighters have already undergone flight tests and may enter serial production by the end of Trump's presidency.
The cost of developing the Ngad program is approximately $20 billion, and the total cost of the companies' orders could reach hundreds of billions of dollars. It is expected that the cost of one fighter after the start of serial production will exceed $300 million.
The Ngad program includes a manned sixth-generation fighter, unmanned combat support, and new weapons, as well as possibly other secret systems.
President Trump stated that the F-47 fighter is a unique aircraft in the military market and has the best characteristics in speed, maneuverability, and armament.
The development of this fighter is being handled by Boeing. The aircraft has stealth technology, can reach speeds of over 2248 km/h, and cooperate with drones. Serial production of the aircraft is set to begin during Trump's presidency.
Earlier, President Trump also noted that the experimental version of the fighter has been flying for five years.
