U.S. President Donald Trump has postponed a conversation with Chinese leader Xi Jinping, which was meant to reduce tensions between the countries that have arisen due to the tariff war. China will impose tariffs on U.S. imports in response to Trump's tariffs.

Trump also postponed the implementation of tariffs on Mexico and Canada for 30 days after reaching an agreement with these countries on border protection and crime fighting. The U.S. president emphasized that the future targets of his tariffs could be EU countries.
