Telegram to Share Offenders' Contact Information with Law Enforcement: Details.

To prevent abuse of search in Telegram, the company has updated its terms of use and privacy policy of its messenger. This was reported by the founder Pavel Durov.
He noted that IP addresses and phone numbers of individuals who violate the platform's rules might be disclosed to relevant authorities upon legitimate requests.
The moderation team, using artificial intelligence, has been improving search safety in Telegram for several weeks. According to Durov, all problematic content detected in search is no longer available.
The measures taken are intended to give criminals a sense of deterrence. The search in Telegram is intended for finding friends and news, not for promoting illegal goods. The founder stated that he would not allow offenders to undermine the integrity of the platform, which has nearly a billion users.
Recall that earlier Pavel Durov was detained in Paris on suspicion of aiding the distribution of child pornography through the Telegram Messenger. OFMIN's investigation revealed that Telegram was used to distribute links to groups with illegal content, including materials related to child pornography.
It is worth noting that after the detention of the Telegram messenger's founder in France, the company began cooperating with the investigation, responding to law enforcement agencies' requests.
