The Times reported how many recruits Ukraine plans to mobilize by the end of 2024.

Ukraine plans to mobilize an additional 200,000 recruits by the end of 2024. This is reported by The Times, citing the secretary of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Defense, Roman Kostenko.
According to the newspaper, achieving this number could be a major challenge for Ukraine: "The target of 200,000 is becoming increasingly difficult to achieve."
A representative from one of the territorial recruitment centers in Odesa said that they have not even reached 20% of the required number: "The Odesa region is one of the worst on the list."
Let us remind you that military units have been granted the right to carry out the mobilization of reservists and conscripts who voluntarily wish to serve during mobilization. This is a long-awaited opportunity that brigades have been waiting for.
In addition, the Cabinet of Ministers approved changes to the procedure for conscription of citizens for military service during mobilization. Now, military unit commanders are granted the right to send conscripts to undergo a military medical commission to determine their fitness for military service.
As reported earlier, in October this year, the Ministry of Defense app "Reserve+" will have a recruitment service available. This update will allow users to easily find current vacancies in the military units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and quickly find their future place of service.
