Trump announced the date of conversation with Putin.

U.S. President Donald Trump announced that negotiations to end the war between Russia and Ukraine are considering the issue of 'distribution of certain assets.' Trump announced a planned conversation with Vladimir Putin on Tuesday.
Previously, Trump reported that Ukraine accepted the proposed 30-day ceasefire from the U.S., transferring the initiative for the decision on ending the war to Russia.
'I think we are doing quite well with Russia. We will see if we can announce something before Tuesday. I will be speaking with President Putin on Tuesday,' he told reporters aboard Air Force One while returning to the White House after the weekend in Mar-a-Lago.
'A lot of work has been done over the weekend, we want to see if we can end this war,' he added. 'Maybe we can, maybe we can't, but I believe we have very good chances.'
According to Trump, negotiators have already discussed specific topics for discussion, such as land and power stations. He also noted that Ukraine and Russia have already talked about 'distribution of certain assets.'
Putin reacted to Trump’s proposal to end the war. He theoretically agreed to the proposal but set strict conditions and demands concessions from Kyiv, considering them the root cause of the war.
This week, meetings of American negotiators with representatives of Ukraine and Russia will continue. The Kremlin also reported that American negotiators will visit Russia for further negotiations.
The only contentious issue remains territorial concessions. American officials believe that Ukraine must concede territory to end the war, but President Zelensky has always been opposed to such a decision.
Polls have shown that Americans evaluate Trump’s position on the war in Ukraine.
