At 20, he went to the front. Ivan Kashchenko received serious injuries in Kursk and needs help.


The soldier received serious injuries at the front
22-year-old Ivan Kashchenko, a serviceman known as 'Koschey', sustained serious injuries during the Armed Forces of Ukraine's operation in Kursk. As a result of an artillery shelling, he lost his right arm and suffered serious leg injuries. Kashchenko was also wounded by shrapnel.
The serviceman became a hero of the interview in Glavkom, published in October 2024, when the Kursk operation was in full swing.
Starting to work in Kursk as a drone pilot, Kashchenko was later transferred to artillery. During one of the battles, his position was shelled by an enemy shell.
The warrior is receiving treatment
Currently, Ivan Kashchenko is receiving necessary treatment. He had an Ilizarov device installed on his leg. To be able to walk again, he is undergoing long rehabilitation. The serviceman needs financial assistance to purchase an electric wheelchair.
Glavkom appeals to everyone who wants to help the defender of Ukraine, who voluntarily went to the front.
