The SES told about the radiation background at the ZNPP.

 The radiation situation on the territory of Ukraine, including the area of the Zaporizhzhia NPP, remains stable. This was reported by the State Emergency Service.

«As of 00:00 on August 12, no changes in the radiation state in the area of the Zaporizhzhia NPP were detected. No technogenic radionuclides, indicating a violation of the safe operation of NPPs in Ukraine or transboundary transfer, have been recorded», – the report says.

The SES noted that the posts of the Ukrhydrometcenter near the ZNPP continue enhanced monitoring of the radiation background and promptly inform about any changes.
