In two sectors, salaries soared to 50,000 UAH: twice as high as the average in Ukraine.


According to Work.ua's research, in February 2025, the average salary in Ukraine increased to 23,500 UAH, which is 500 UAH more than in January. This is the third consecutive month of growth.
By region, the highest average salary figures were:
- Kyiv Region – 26,500 UAH (+500 UAH compared to January);
- Lviv Region – 24,900 UAH (+900 UAH);
- Odesa Region – 22,500 UAH (+500 UAH);
- Kharkiv Region – 21,500 UAH (+500 UAH).
In Dnipropetrovsk Region, the average salary stayed at the January level – 22,500 UAH.
Salaries increased the most in the following sectors:
- telecommunications and communications – up to 30,000 UAH (+9%);
- insurance – up to 27,750 UAH (+7%);
- Media, publishing, and printing – up to 24,000 UAH (+7%).
'In February 2025, employers posted 98,736 vacancies, which is 4% more than in January,' states Work.ua's research.
The number of vacancies increased the most in Zhytomyr (+7%), Kirovohrad, Rivne, Chernivtsi, and Mykolaiv (+6%) regions.
A third of all vacancies (34%) are in Kyiv and the region, 9% each in Lviv and Dnipropetrovsk, 6% in Odesa, and 3% in Kharkiv regions.
Nearly half of the vacancies (44%) belong to five categories:
- blue-collar jobs and manufacturing;
- services;
- sales and procurement;
- retail;
- logistics and warehouse.
Among the most popular professions in February were sales consultants, administrators, sales managers, drivers, and accountants.
