The Pension Fund of Ukraine explained how to obtain a subsidy for rent if the spouses live separately.

The Pension Fund of Ukraine clarified that internally displaced persons can receive a rent subsidy for housing. In this case, a woman with IDP status can claim this assistance even if her husband, who does not have IDP status, lives in another region. However, as explained by the agency, a person who does not live with the tenant and does not have a joint household is not counted when determining the household composition. This information is confirmed by data on the declared or registered place of residence in the departmental information system of the State Migration Service. In the absence of such data, the place of residence or stay can be confirmed by other documents. Previously, the Pension Fund of Ukraine had already explained the impact of military service on pension experience.
