In Poland, the Biedronka supermarket chain has started selling backpacks that can be considered evacuation kits in case of war or other emergencies. This was reported by 'GlaКом' citing inPoland.

The backpacks contain a set of items necessary for survival in extreme conditions, such as a flashlight with SOS mode, a fire starter, a thermal blanket with a carabiner and whistle. This useful equipment is handy in situations when one needs to quickly find a way out of the forest or other hazardous areas. The price of the backpack is 129 zlotys (1380 UAH).

It is noted that the description of the backpack does not contain clear indications that it is an 'evacuation backpack', however, its configuration resembles the instructions for preparing for evacuation available on the website of the Government Security Center of Poland (RCB). The backpack has various accessories that are useful during evacuation or survival in natural conditions.

It is noted that these backpacks can be a convenient and affordable option for many, despite the existing official recommendations for preparing for evacuation in Ukraine and Poland.

Earlier, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration of Poland urged the citizens of the Republic to make supplies for three days of autonomous survival in case of crisis situations.

It is noted that the European Commission also recommends that all European households have supplies of water, medicines, batteries, and food to last for 72 hours without assistance from an external source in the event of a crisis.
