The Security Service of Ukraine officially commented on the searches at the SAP.

The Security Service of Ukraine has started an inspection of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office. The agency explained its actions and responded to accusations of disclosing confidential investigative operations.

Agency representatives emphasized that the inspection is being conducted according to the law, and dismissed accusations of possible disclosure of confidential actions by SAP and NABU as manipulation.

'SSU employees did not have access to information about all operational measures of NABU and SAP. The SSU inspection does not involve familiarization with the full content of such documents. Claims about possible disclosure of covert investigative actions by SSU representatives are unfounded and manipulative,'

The agency also clarified that investigative actions were conducted without prior notification due to the risk of information leakage and threats to operations.

'Conducting urgent investigative actions without a court ruling does not violate the law in cases where it may lead to information leakage and cause harm to special operations within investigations related to collaboration with the aggressor country,'

It should be noted that the National Anti-Corruption Bureau responded to SSU's actions.

It has also become known that the SSU detained one of the NABU detective leaders on suspicion of collaboration with the Russian Federation.
