On Wednesday, 37-year-old Kesarija Abramidze, one of Georgia's most famous transgender women, was brutally murdered in Tbilisi. She suffered fatal stab wounds in her home. The police arrested a 26-year-old man who was acquainted with the victim. This was reported by the BBC.
