Obtaining a deferral from conscription for parents with many children
In the Transcarpathian TCC and SP, the procedure for obtaining a deferral from conscription for parents with many children during mobilization was explained, reports the "Judicial and Legal Newspaper".
The Law of Ukraine "On Mobilization Preparation and Mobilization" provides that men and women who have three or more children under the age of 18 are entitled to a deferral. However, this right is canceled if there are alimony arrears exceeding three months.
To arrange a deferral, a parent with many children must:
- Submit a personal application to the head of the RTCC and SP commission in the prescribed form.
- Provide the necessary documents, including birth certificates of the children and documents confirming the family status or place of residence of the children.
The RTCC and SP commission reviews the submitted documents and makes a decision. If the decision is positive, a certificate of deferral with the duration period is issued. In case of refusal, the applicant receives a written notification with the reasons for refusal, which can be appealed in court.
The commission notifies about the decision the next day after adoption. It is important to keep the certificate as proof of temporary exemption from conscription.
The procedure for obtaining deferrals has also been expanded for certain categories of individuals through the "Diia" for officials and members of public organizations. In addition, the new booking procedure provides the right to book up to 100% for grant project performers, regardless of their activity.
