Ukraine received a grant from the USA for almost 4 billion dollars: Shmyhal revealed the details.


Ukraine received 3.9 billion dollars of a non-repayable grant from the USA through the World Bank.
This was announced by the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal.
According to him, these funds will help finance priority budget expenditures - salaries for teachers, doctors, and rescuers, social assistance.
At the same Time, Shmyhal emphasized that this is the first tranche of direct budget support from the USA in 2024. Overall, this year Ukraine will receive 7.8 billion dollars of direct budget support from the USA, which will allow it to confidently pass this financial period.
"Thank you to the United States and the World Bank for the high level of attention and support that strengthens our resilience in countering barbaric Russian aggression," wrote the Prime Minister.
