The Defense Procurement Agency of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the Norwegian Defense Materials Agency (NDMA) have signed a cooperation agreement.
'We are expanding cooperation between Ukraine and Norway - we have signed an important agreement between the Defense Procurement Agency of the Ministry of Defense and the Norwegian Defense Materials Agency (NDMA). The agreement opens up new opportunities for information exchange on the arms market, joint research, and the development of innovative military technologies,' said Defense Minister Rustem Umierov.
Rustem Umierov noted that working groups have already been established in Kyiv and Oslo, where NDMA experts are training Ukrainian specialists in various areas.
'Deepening cooperation with NATO partners will enhance the effectiveness of planning and delivery of armaments, which is critically important for repelling Russian aggression. We are grateful to our Norwegian colleagues for their support and willingness to share their experience. Together, we are strengthening Ukraine's defense capabilities and ensuring the security of all of Europe,' Umierov stated.
