Ukrainians will receive 6500 hryvnias in assistance: who will receive money under the 'Warm Winter' program.


The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the 'Warm Winter' decree for social support for the most vulnerable categories of the population
The Ministry for Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine has announced that the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved an important decree called 'Warm Winter'. This decree is aimed at social support for the most vulnerable categories of the population during the winter of 2024-2025.
According to the document, children from low-income families, children, and persons with disabilities of group I among internally displaced persons (IDPs) will receive a one-Time cash assistance of 6500 hryvnias.
To receive this assistance, children must be under 18 years old as of November 1, 2024. The money will be allocated to those Ukrainians who receive housing assistance for IDPs and state social assistance for low-income families in November 2024.
Government representatives note that this decree is part of measures to strengthen social protection for the most vulnerable segments of the population and provide assistance during the difficult winter period.
