Ukrainians will receive new social assistance from July 1: who will receive it and how much.

From July 1, 2025, low-income Ukrainian families will have the opportunity to receive new social assistance. The government will launch a pilot program aimed at financially supporting the most vulnerable social groups in the population. This assistance will be provided as part of an experimental project approved by the government.
According to information from the press service of the Pension Fund of Ukraine, starting from July 1, families who already receive state social assistance (low-income families, single mothers, large families) will also be able to receive assistance, as well as children whose parents do not pay alimony or cannot support their child. Criteria for other categories of persons will be introduced from October 1, 2025. Applications for assistance can be submitted through the Diia Portal or at the Pension Fund service center.
The procedure for obtaining assistance involves submitting documents with personal and contact information and data about all family members. Family information is verified in official databases and registries. The amount of assistance will be 4500 hryvnias and will be distributed among family members depending on their needs.
Thus, from July 1, Ukrainians with low incomes will be able to take advantage of the new social assistance aimed at financially supporting the most vulnerable social groups of families, and this will be made possible by the pilot program launched by the government.
The Government of Ukraine will start providing new social assistance to low-income families from July 1, 2025. The program aims to assist the most vulnerable social groups of the population, such as low-income families, large families, single mothers, and children who find themselves in difficult life situations due to parental neglect or lack of support. Broader access to this assistance for other categories of citizens will be possible from October 1, 2025.
