Ukrainian gymnast Chepurnyi won two medals at the World Cup.

In the first stage of the World Cup in artistic gymnastics, Ukrainian gymnast Nazar Chepurnyi achieved success, winning two medals. Chepurnyi expressed his satisfaction with the results and takes pride in his victories. In the finals on the vault, he took second place, finishing behind Armenian Arthur Davtyan. Chepurnyi also secured second place in the parallel bars.
Additionally, gymnast Diana Lobok represented Ukraine at the competitions, finishing fifth on the beam and seventh in the floor exercises. Ukrainian gymnast Vladyslav Gryko performed in the final on the pommel horse and took sixth place.
Unfortunately, gymnast Illia Kovtun performed alongside a Russian athlete who supports the war. This raises doubts about their patriotic stance towards Ukraine. There are suggestions that this decision is linked to the desire to obtain Croatian citizenship.
At this stage of the competition, Russian athlete Viktoriya Listunova also competed, who is known for her support of the war against Ukraine. She posted about raising funds for Russian gymnast Kravchenko, whose father, an occupier, was eliminated by the defenders of Ukraine.
Overall, Ukrainian gymnasts demonstrated impressive results at this stage of the World Cup in artistic gymnastics, showcasing their talents and skills.
