Ukrainian drivers are shown how to check their fines and penalty points for violations in Poland.

Ukrainian drivers have been given the opportunity to check their fines for violating traffic rules in Poland online
From the beginning of 2025, new rules regarding fines for traffic violations have been introduced in Poland. Fines have increased significantly. The new rules concern speed, alcohol intoxication, lack of documents, and other violations.
In particular, for speeding, fines can reach up to 1500 zlotys for exceeding the limit by 11-30 km/h and up to 5000 zlotys for exceeding by more than 30 km/h.
Fines for alcohol intoxication have also increased. For a blood alcohol content of 0.2 to 0.5 promille, a fine of 50 to 5000 zlotys is imposed, along with a possible arrest of up to 30 days and a license suspension for 3 years.
Fines ranging from 200 to 2000 zlotys are also imposed for violations of seatbelt use, failure to yield to emergency services, or not using low beam headlights. Driving without documents such as a passport, driver's license, insurance, or vehicle registration is punishable by a fine of 1000 zlotys.
To check fines, drivers can use a special portal or government service. Drivers can also reduce penalty points through paid training courses, but this right is not available to drivers with less than a year of experience.
It is recommended to use official platforms for timely payment of fines and to avoid problems.
