Ukraine will be covered by the brightest meteor shower of the year: what is known.

The brightest meteor shower Perseids
On the night of Tuesday, August 13, the brightest meteor shower of the year, the Perseids, can be seen over Ukraine. These showers are active from mid-July and will last until the end of August. They are best seen in the northern hemisphere, including in Ukraine, especially before dawn. This year, observers will have to compete with the light of the Moon, but it will be dark enough in the early morning for viewing.
According to senior astronomer at the Royal Greenwich Observatory, Ed Bloomer, you can observe the meteor shower not only at its peak night, but also a few days before and after. The main factors affecting observation are the weather and lighting at the location.
Meteor showers occur annually at the same Time, but there is a slight chance that each shower will reach its peak. It is best to look for meteor showers at night in a dark place away from urban lighting and refrain from looking at phones. You can also observe especially bright meteors known as 'fireballs'.
Rare cosmic phenomenon: the approach of Mars and Jupiter
On the night of August 14, another rare cosmic phenomenon will occur: Mars and Jupiter will approach each other in the night sky. They will be separated by only one-third of a degree.
