Ukrnafta drilled 32,000 meters in 2024
The company 'Ukrnafta' reports that in 2024 it drilled 32,000 meters of wells, which represents a 280% increase compared to 2023.
According to the company, all 10 new wells are successful and have a higher flow rate than planned. Another 12 wells began construction in the 4th quarter of 2024 and are at various stages of development at this Time.
'Ukrnafta launched an ambitious drilling and intensification program at one of the company's youngest fields - we are working with our own rigs in challenging mountain conditions,' said Sergey Koretsky, director of 'Ukrnafta'.
Next year, in 2025, the company plans to drill 30 new wells.
Ukrnafta achieved a number of successful results in 2024
In addition to the drilled wells, 'Ukrnafta' also achieved other important results in 2024:
- Acquired the first special permit at an auction.
- Achieved a reserve replacement ratio of 91%, which is 2.2 million tons in oil equivalent. This is significantly higher than the figure of 64% in 2023.
- Obtained new data about 8 deposits and areas using 3D seismic exploration. Plans for 2025 include studying another 800 square kilometers.
- Drilled a well with a depth of 4520 meters, which is the deepest object of 'Ukrnafta' in the last 8 years.
- Conducted 340 operations to intensify production, resulting in an additional extraction of 121 thousand tons of oil and 111 million cubic meters of gas.
- Performed 69 hydraulic fracturing operations, which resulted in an additional extraction of 66 thousand tons of oil and 13 million cubic meters of gas. The success rate of the hydraulic fracturing operations was 89%, and the average flow increase was 9 tons per day.
- Carried out three successful operations using flow diversion methods, resulting in an additional extraction of 4.7 thousand tons of oil.
