Umerov talked about Ukraine's progress in weapon production.

Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov reported significant progress in the development of the domestic defense industry complex.
In his column for Forbes Ukraine, he revealed staggering figures of growth in the Ukrainian defense industry.
According to Umerov, in 2024, the Ministry of Defense invested over 4 billion dollars in domestic arms production. This funding has significantly increased the share of Ukrainian products at the front. In particular, the minister emphasized that today, every second ammunition used in the combat zone is made by Ukrainian enterprises.
"If in 2023 the Ukrainian share of ammunition was 18%, it increased to 41% in 2024," he said.
Umerov also noted that Ukrainian weapons played a key role in countering the Russian army in the Kharkiv region. In addition, domestic ammunition met the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine during a period when support from the U.S. was limited.
Earlier, Rustem Umerov announced the launch of Ukraine's powerful missile program and reported whether the West was ready to finance it.
