The EU is ready for a special approach in negotiations on Ukraine's accession - Stefanishina.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Justice Olha Stefanishyna at the Accession Exchange Forum conference in Kyiv stated that European partners are ready for a special approach in negotiations on Ukraine's accession to the EU. She added that mechanisms to accelerate integration are already being discussed in meetings with European partners.
Stefanishyna noted that the standard issue in negotiations with candidate states is the readiness to implement the entire body of EU legislation. However, the question of accelerated integration is new, and the European side itself is asking for it. She also emphasized that she perceives this as the EU's readiness to adapt these procedures, as the first steps to accelerate are already taking place.
In particular, the EU is ready to deviate from its rules regarding the sequential passage of all stages on the path to membership. The Deputy Prime Minister explained that they are doing everything in parallel, unlike the standard approach.
