In Odesa, a school and kindergarten were damaged due to a night attack (photo).


As a result of a drone attack on the night of November 8 in Odesa, the building of one of the city schools and a kindergarten were damaged, reports the press service of the Odesa City Council in Telegram.
School No. 125 has about 500 students and 60 children who attend the kindergarten in the same building. As a result of the attack, the following damages were found:
- 120 windows (700 m²) in 30 classrooms were completely shattered;
- 30 doors were damaged;
- heating systems and electrical networks were partially affected.
In 30 classrooms, the ceiling was also damaged, and 100 desks and 200 chairs were destroyed.
The Director of the Department of Education of the Odesa City Council, Olena Buinevich, reported that the restoration of heating has already begun.
The kindergarten is planned to be restored and resume its work on Monday, November 11. During the week, students will study remotely, and from November 18, they will return to studying in two shifts in the classrooms of the part of the school that was less affected. The restoration of the most damaged part of the building is planned to be completed between November and January.
Let us recall that on the night of November 8 in the Odesa region, a massive drone attack resulted in one death and nine injuries. Additionally, psychological help was provided to fifteen residents, including a child and a pregnant woman. Pyrotechnic units of the State Emergency Service examined the area for explosive devices.
