The Security Service reported that the activities of the rector of the Odesa diocese of the Moscow church have been uncovered, who spread Russian aggression and religious hatred. According to the investigation, the priest praised Russian President Vladimir Putin and glorified the occupation troops in his sermons and conversations with believers. He also tried to justify Russian war crimes, including shelling of Ukraine. In addition, the cleric encouraged intolerance towards representatives of other faiths.
A forensic linguistic examination carried out by the Security Service confirmed these facts of information sabotage activities by the archpriest for the benefit of Russia.
According to the results of the investigation, the archpriest was notified of suspicion under two articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - violation of equality of citizens and justification of Russia's aggression against Ukraine.
The investigation continues to clarify all the circumstances of this crime. The offender faces imprisonment.
It is worth noting that earlier the Security Service detained the rector of the UOC MP church in Kharkiv for his cooperation with the enemy.
In addition, the court issued a verdict against the rector of the Vinnytsia diocese of the UOC MP, who spread praises of the Russian president and the occupiers.
At the request of Patriarch Kirill, Russians should not fear nuclear war, as Christians are not afraid of the end of the world.
