Price changes for lard, bread, and bacon in Ukraine
According to the Minfin portal, in May 2025, there were changes in prices for essential food products - lard, bread, and bacon.
Lard
The price of homemade lard increased from 236.77 to 238.50 hryvnias per kilogram, while salted lard decreased from 264.80 to 242.80 hryvnias per kilogram.
Bread
The price of sliced wheat bread increased by almost 8 hryvnias - from 41.53 to 49.49 hryvnias per package. Meanwhile, the bread 'Tsar Khlib' increased slightly.
Bacon
Bacon became more expensive in May, with price increases observed for bacon from the brand 'Ukrprompostach' - from 470.41 to 482.10 hryvnias per kilogram.
It should be noted that supermarkets also changed prices for a number of other products, including sunflower oil and eggs.
