According to the Center for Countering Disinformation, Russia has spent significant amounts of money on drone and missile attacks on Ukraine since 2022.
Since the beginning of the invasion, Russia has spent over 18 billion dollars on missile strikes and drone attacks in Ukraine, which is equivalent to more than 1.8 trillion rubles.
'This money could have been used for regional development, building schools, hospitals, and infrastructure,' emphasized the Center for Countering Disinformation.
For example, St. Petersburg has planned to spend 1.3 trillion rubles (13 billion dollars) in 2024, which is equivalent to 1.38 years of the city's budget.
Recall that the GUR revealed Putin's main goal on the front by the end of winter.
