In Ukraine, the UN cash assistance program has been expanded: who can receive it.

The UN has expanded its cash assistance program for Ukrainians.
According to the Ministry of Social Policy, a new wave of the UN WFP cash assistance program for residents of frontline areas has started in Ukraine. This program is expanding and now includes new categories of Ukrainians.
Please note, in addition to those who previously received assistance, persons without pension rights, adults and children with disabilities, can now receive this aid.
Program criteria include:
- living in areas of active or potential hostilities;
- receiving social assistance of less than 3,250 UAH per month;
- not receiving accommodation assistance for internally displaced persons (IDPs);
- not receiving international targeted financial support from other international organizations at the Time of assistance distribution.
The amount of assistance is calculated as the difference between 3,250 UAH and the amount of state social assistance the person already receives.
The program is valid for 6 months, with a total amount of assistance exceeding 284 million UAH.
The money can be received into a bank account or through Ukrposhta. WFP and the Ministry of Social Policy compile lists based on information that is already in the state registers.
Additionally, Ukrainians can receive one thousand UAH through Ukrposhta.
