As a result of the investigation in the Kyiv region, an exporting company was noticed, which planned to evade tax payments in a significant amount.
"The investigation found that the head of the company engaged in exporting agricultural products did not reflect in the profit tax declaration the transactions for receiving grain crops, which were further planned to be exported to EU countries. In this way, the company avoided paying 12.6 million UAH in taxes. The amount of damage caused to the state is confirmed by the court's expert assessment," informed the BIE.
The head of the enterprise was announced a suspicion of committing a criminal offense in accordance with Article 212 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
"During the pre-trial investigation, BIE detectives managed to fully compensate for the damage caused to the state. The money has already been transferred to the budget. The criminal case will be sent to court with a request for exemption from criminal liability," noted the BIE.
