Ukraine has regulated border crossing for two categories of citizens.

The Cabinet of Ministers has changed the procedure for crossing the border for artists and media workers
According to the information from the Deputy Minister of Culture and Strategic Communications of Ukraine for European Integration Andrii Nadzhos, previously all applications were sent directly to the ministry, but now they will be forwarded to the State Cinema and the State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company for processing and verification of documents.
'The innovations in the changes voted on by the Cabinet of Ministers yesterday are that previously all applications were submitted to the ministry, but now we have implemented a scheme where all applications are directed to the relevant institutions, such as the State Cinema and the State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company. Within their competence, they process and verify all necessary documents, and we (the Ministry of Culture – IF-U) receive a verified package. This, firstly, will speed up the process, and secondly, will make it more transparent and responsible', noted Nadzhos.
Now, the letter of support will only be signed by the minister or the person performing his duties.
There are two important conditions for processing documents for leaving the country: first, it is necessary to submit documents to the Ministry of Culture no later than 15 days before the planned departure date, and the total duration of stay abroad cannot exceed 60 calendar days from the moment of crossing the border.
'In exceptional cases, this period may be extended, but we believe that this Time is enough for a person to resolve their work issues and return to Ukraine,' added the deputy minister.
A list of documents necessary for obtaining a letter of support from the Ministry of Culture has also been defined, including the invitation and military accounting document.
For media representatives, additional requirements are introduced; they must provide an official business trip and a detailed description of the editorial assignment.
The Ministry of Culture plans to introduce a new control mechanism for artists who collect funds to support the Defense Forces. After returning from abroad, they will have to provide a detailed report on which brigade and in what amount the collected funds were transferred.
There are also new conditions for legal entities and individual entrepreneurs regarding registration and activity.
The regulation will come into force on March 6.
Earlier, the Ministry of Social Policy announced a new mechanism for drivers to exit for humanitarian cargo.
