US Vice President JD Vance became a victim of booing during a concert of the National Symphony Orchestra at the Kennedy Center in Washington. This was reported by 'Glavcom' citing an article in The Washington Post.

Vance attended the concert with his wife. As soon as they entered the hall, other spectators began to boo them loudly.

This reaction was prompted by the achievement of the administration of US President Donald Trump regarding the reform of the Kennedy Center, reports The Washington Post. As part of this reform, Trump appointed a board of trustees, which chose his wife, Usha Vance, as the head of the Kennedy Center. This also became a cause for disappointment.

Earlier, several shows were canceled at the Kennedy Center, including the popular musical 'Hamilton,' as a manifestation of protest.

The concert at which the Vances were booed started 30 minutes late due to the arrival of the Vice President, resulting in an increased security presence at the Kennedy Center.

The Washington Post also reminds that Donald Trump had a difficult relationship with the Kennedy Center during his first presidency and decided to carry out its reform during his second.

Previously, 'Glavcom' reported that JD Vance's cousin, Nate Vance, fought for Ukraine as part of the 'Wolves of Da Vinci' and witnessed how Russian invaders treated their own compatriots.

As for JD Vance himself, he had previously complained that protesters frightened his daughter. Specifically, this referred to those who supported Ukraine and criticized the administration of Donald Trump.
