Immediately by 60 hryvnias: supermarkets raised prices for cucumbers and tomatoes in November.


Prices for cucumbers and tomatoes continue to rise
According to the Minfin portal, Ukrainians were shown how the prices of vegetables, in particular, cucumbers and tomatoes, are changing.
In November, the cost of these vegetables continues to rise, and the increase in their price is noticeable. For example, some varieties of cucumbers have risen in price by almost 60 hryvnias.
As of November 4th, the average cost of cucumbers rose from 101.64 UAH/kg to 121.85 UAH/kg. In addition, the price for smooth cucumbers increased from 100.54 UAH/kg to 157.70 UAH/kg, long cucumbers - from 77.58 UAH/kg to 129.00 UAH/kg, and prickly ones - from 106.38 UAH/kg to 164.90 UAH/kg.
Tomatoes have also risen in price, but not as much:
- Red tomatoes - from 90.63 UAH/kg to 102.02 UAH/kg
- Pink tomatoes - from 96.00 UAH/kg to 107.20 UAH/kg
- Plum tomatoes - from 78.08 UAH/kg to 89.89 UAH/kg
It should be noted that milk prices in Ukraine exceed the level of prices in Europe.
