Military personnel are massing in the SZCH. Syrsky clarified the situation with the 155th brigade.


Deserters from the 155th brigade are gradually gaining combat skills
One of the working units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine - the 155th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Anna of Kyiv, is gradually acquiring the necessary abilities for combat operations. Previously, the soldiers of this brigade had been abandoning military service and deserting. This was reported by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrsky, while commenting on the work in the Pokrovsk direction.
Syrsky noted that in this direction, a group of Russians is concentrating its main efforts and conducting active offensive operations.
During a conversation with the brigade commander at the command post, Syrsky got acquainted with the specifics of conducting hostilities and the problems, as well as requests regarding the urgent needs of the military. He noted that 'all measures' have been taken to resolve the issues that have arisen.
In addition, Syrsky made decisions regarding the strengthening of reserves and providing additional capabilities to units for more effective task execution.
The Commander-in-Chief emphasized that special attention was paid to the 155th brigade. It is gradually acquiring the necessary combat skills. 'We analyzed all the negative aspects and difficulties that arose during the deployment of the brigade in Ukraine, and drew conclusions that will be taken into account in the future training of military personnel,' Syrsky concluded.
It should also be mentioned that employees of the SBI and the SBU arrested and charged the commander of one of the brigade’s companies, who not only abandoned his place of service but also incited his subordinates to do the same. This was reported by the State Bureau of Investigation.
It was found that the senior lieutenant did not execute the order regarding the transfer of his company to the operational command of another unit at the end of last year. Instead, he encouraged his fighters to flee without weapons and abandoned his service place.
