Drivers warned about inevitable fuel price increase: reason named.

Economist Oleg Ustenko noted that fuel prices in Ukraine may rise by 10-15% if global oil prices stabilize at $90-100 per barrel. This is explained by the fact that oil demand is decreasing due to economic decline, but limited supply is driving prices up.
'The equilibrium price will most likely be around $90-100 per barrel. If the price stabilizes at $90, we can expect gasoline prices to increase by 10-15%', - Ustenko explained.
He also noted that the deterioration of fuel production in Ukraine and the country's dependence on imports have already led to higher fuel prices in Ukraine.
Average fuel prices in Ukraine
According to the consulting group 'A-95', as of June 23, the average fuel prices in Ukraine are as follows: A-95 premium gasoline - 62.77 UAH per liter, A-95 gasoline - 58.44 UAH, A-92 gasoline - 56.58 UAH, diesel fuel - 55.56 UAH per liter.
It is also necessary to remember that mixing A-95 and A-98 gasoline may affect engine performance.
Ukrainian consumers can expect a rise in gasoline prices due to changes in the global oil market and problems with fuel production in the country, as well as its dependence on imports. Currently, the cost of fuel in Ukraine is already not very low, so further price increases could become a serious challenge for citizens.
