The enemy attacks around the clock in the Kupyansk direction to reach the Oskil River – Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Russian occupiers are trying to advance in the Kupyansk direction, where intensive continuous battles are now taking place near the settlement of Kruglyakivka. This was reported on the air of «Espreso» by the commander of the strike UAV battalion «ACHILLES» of the 92nd separate assault brigade named after Koshevoy Ataman Ivan Sirko, Yuriy Fedorenko.

«The enemy identifies the Kupyansk direction as one of the priorities for occupying the Kharkiv region, particularly to create a buffer zone with the Luhansk region. Kupyansk remains an important city for the enemy, so the forces and means concentrated here are quite powerful. First of all, the enemy began preparatory actions, massively using aviation with guided bombs», – noted Fedorenko.

He said that the Russians are trying to apply a scenario in Kupyansk similar to Vovchansk and Avdiivka, where cities are destroyed to the foundation.

«The enemy increased the forces of assault infantry, lightly armored and armored vehicles, UAV operators, and artillery. This allowed them to achieve some tactical successes, particularly capturing part of the left bank of the Oskil River in the area of the settlement Kruglyakivka», – explained Fedorenko.

In addition, he noted that the enemy failed to fully consolidate on the left-bank bridgehead near Kruglyakivka.

«There are now complex round-the-clock battles with the primary goal to stop the enemy. Only after this can one speak of stabilizing the situation if the enemy does not bring in additional reserves, which is quite possible», – added Fedorenko.

Russian elite special units suffered losses

Recall that during the past day, the occupiers launched two missile strikes, using four missiles, 35 air strikes using 62 guided air bombs, 490 strikes by kamikaze drones, and conducted almost 2600 shelling of our troops' positions and settlements using various types of weapons.
