Enemy losses as of September 26, 2024 – General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has updated information about the losses of the Russian occupiers as of the morning of September 26, 2024.

Russia's losses in the war as of September 26, 2024

As of now, the Russian Federation has lost the following in the war with Ukraine:

• personnel - about 647800 (+1400) individuals;
• tanks - 8825 (+10) units;
• armored fighting vehicles - 17348 (+44) units;
• artillery systems - 18620 (+71) units;
• MLRS - 1199 (+0) units;
• air defense systems - 959 (+7) units;
• aircraft - 369 (+0) units;
• helicopters - 328 (+0) units;
• UAVs of operational-tactical level - 15946 (+67) units;
• cruise missiles - 2599 (+4) units;
• ships / boats - 28 (+0) units;
• submarines - 1 (+0) unit;
• motor vehicles and fuel tankers - 25353 (+105) units;
• special equipment - 3190 (+22) units;

Occupant fleet activity as of September 26

• In the Black Sea, there is one enemy ship carrying "Kalibr" cruise missiles and capable of launching up to four missiles;
• No enemy ships are present in the Sea of Azov;
• In the Mediterranean Sea, there is one enemy ship carrying "Kalibr" cruise missiles and capable of launching up to 16 missiles.

Over the past day, enemy vessels passed through the Kerch Strait as follows:

• to the Black Sea - eight vessels, five of which continued towards the Bosphorus Strait;
• to the Sea of Azov - 17 vessels, five of which moved from the Bosphorus Strait.

Enemy aviation system losses

On the night of September 26, 2024, the enemy attacked Sumy with two unidentified type missiles from the Belgorod region, and Odesa with four guided air missiles X-59/69 from the Black Sea. The occupiers also launched 78 "Shahed" attack drones over Ukraine (launch areas: Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Orel, Kursk - RF).To protect against air raids, aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, mobile fire teams, and electronic warfare units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were employed.

During the anti-aircraft battle, four guided air missiles X-59/69 and 66 attack drones were shot down. Enemy drones were lost in several regions of Ukraine (no information on casualties or destruction was received). One drone returned to Russia, and another remains in Ukrainian airspace and is actively engaged in combat.

Air defense operated in Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Kyiv, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi, Ivano-Frankivsk, Sumy, Poltava, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Kherson, and other regions.

Currently, the full-scale war in Ukraine has been ongoing for 946 days.
