According to the information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, early in the morning on January 3, 2025, data on the losses of the Russian occupiers was updated.
Russia's losses as of January 3, 2025
The Russian Federation has lost in the war with Ukraine as of January 3 the following:
- Personnel: approximately 793,250 (+1080) individuals
- Tanks: 9,677 (+1) units
- Combat armored vehicles: 20,070 (+14) units
- Artillery systems: 21,555 (+3) units
- Rocket launchers: 1,257 (+1) units
- Anti-aircraft defense means: 1,032 (+0) units
- Aircraft: 369 (+0) units
- Helicopters: 330 (+0) units
- UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles) of operational-tactical level: 21,249 (+49) units
- Missiles: 3,003 (+0) units
- Ships / boats: 28 (+0) units
- Submarines: 1 (+0) unit
- Automotive technology and tank trucks: 32,770 (+41) units
- Special equipment: 3,675 (+0) units
Activity of the occupiers' fleet as of January 3
- In the Black Sea, there is only one enemy ship, which is a carrier of cruise missiles 'Kalibr', but there are no missiles;
- In the Sea of Azov, there are no enemy ships;
- In the Mediterranean Sea, there are eight enemy ships, of which three are carriers of cruise missiles 'Kalibr' and can launch a total of up to 26 missiles.
On the day before January 3, the Russian Federation used the Kerch Strait:
- Five vessels entered the Black Sea, of which two continued towards the Bosporus Strait;
- Four vessels entered the Sea of Azov, but none of them moved from the Bosporus Strait.
The full-scale war in Ukraine has already lasted for 1044 days.
