Marta Kostyuk's shot in the third round match of the WTA 1000 tournament in Miami was recognized as the best shot of March. The Ukrainian tennis player defeated Russian Anna Blinkova with a score of 6:2, 6:1. On match point, Kostyuk hit an underarm ace that Blinkova could not return.
Let us remind you that Marta also dominated in the Billie Jean King Cup match against Katarzyna Kawa, winning with a score of 6:1, 6:2. The tournament takes place in the Polish city of Radom on a closed clay court. In the upcoming matches, Ukraine will play against Poland and Switzerland.
Tennis player Iga Swiatek decided not to participate in the Billie Jean King Cup, noting that she needs to focus on her training. The leader of the Swiss team, Belinda Bencic, will also not play against Ukraine.
