Since 2018 served under contract. Let's remember the combat medic Serhii Marov.

Every day at 9 a.m. Ukrainians remember all those who died in the Russian-Ukrainian war. Today we will remember Serhii Marov.
Serhii Marov was a combat medic and died in Donbas, defending Ukraine from Russian occupiers. This was reported by the mayor of Cherkasy, Anatolii Bondarenko.
Serhii Marov was born in 1993 in the village of Novokyivka, Skadovskyi district, Kherson region. He received his education at Oleshky Technical Lyceum and worked as a laborer at the oil plant LLC "Ruzhytska" and in the agricultural firm "Novokyivka".
In 2016, Serhii Marov was drafted into the National Guard of Ukraine, and since 2018 he served under contract.
He worked as a combat medic in the operational platoon of the operational company (on armored personnel carriers) of the operational battalion of the National Guard of Ukraine.
Serhii Marov died during the hostilities in Donbas at the hands of Russian invaders. He was 31 years old.
The defender of Ukraine was buried on October 3, 2024. He was left without male support, and his wife Marina and stepson Artem mourned his loss. Serhii Marov treated Artem as his own son but did not manage to officially adopt him.
We join in a moment of silence and honor the memory of all Ukrainians who died defending the Motherland. We light candles of remembrance and bow our heads in mourning during the nationwide moment of silence to honor the heroes of Ukraine who gave their lives for the freedom and independence of our country – all the military, civilians, and children, all who died in the struggle against the Russian occupiers and as a result of enemy attacks on Ukrainian towns and villages.
