The Ukrainian women's biathlon team won an award at the junior IBU Cup
The Ukrainian biathletes earned a medal on the first day of competitions at the junior IBU Cup in Ridnau, Italy. Our team consists of 11 athletes.
The first discipline was the individual race, where our team also proved to be the best. Iryna Shevchenko, shooting with no mistakes, finished third. Only two German athletes surpassed her result.
This is already the first award for Ukraine in women's individual races at the junior IBU Cup in the last five years. This success was previously achieved by Anna Kryvonos.

We also remind that Ukrainian biathlete Vitaliy Mandzyin is competing for the title of best athlete of the World Cup.
