Zelensky held important negotiations after the attack on Zaporizhzhia.


Zelensky spoke about the missile strike on Zaporizhzhia and held talks with international partners
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky reported on the consequences of the missile strike and negotiations to strengthen the country's air defense. After the attack on Zaporizhzhia, 18 people were injured, including fatalities. Zelensky emphasized the need to enhance air defense systems in Ukraine and asked partners to provide assistance in this matter.
The president held talks with the Chief Commander of the Armed Forces and discussed the safety of Ukrainian cities. He noted that partners have air defense systems that could be used, but they are insufficient in Ukraine.
Additionally, the president held negotiations with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk and NATO Secretary General regarding strengthening security in Europe. They discussed joint plans for the coming weeks and Poland's presidency in the European Union.
The president also awarded a Ukrainian scientist the Paton Prize for achievements in various fields.
