Zelensky spoke about the prospects of peace negotiations, the future of NATO and possible dialogue with Putin.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, in a special interview for NBC News' "Meet the Press," shared his understanding of how the war might end and warned of possible Russian aggression against NATO countries.
According to NBC News, the interview with the President took place at the annual security conference in Munich, attended by members of the Trump administration, Republican senators, and European leaders.
"I will never accept any decisions between the United States and Russia regarding Ukraine. Never," Zelensky emphasizes in a conversation with host Kristen Welker. "This is a war in Ukraine, against us, and these are our human losses."
The President of Ukraine warns of the threat of Russian invasion into other European countries this summer, referencing intelligence about Russian military exercises in Belarus. He states that it is unclear where Putin will go after failing to occupy Ukraine, creating risks for Poland and Lithuania. He also warns of a potential war against NATO, as there are suspicions that Putin may initiate it.
The President also notes that a U.S. exit from NATO would lead to the destruction of the alliance, as European NATO members do not have sufficient military capability for self-defense. According to him, Putin may start aggression against former Soviet republics.
Zelensky expresses gratitude to Trump for supporting Ukraine in peace negotiations. He emphasizes that there is no leader in the world who can reach an agreement with Putin without Ukraine. He also highlights that Putin "is a little afraid of President Trump," which could help in starting peace negotiations.
"Putin does not want peace. He is a murderer and will never change. Therefore, this is a dialogue with a terrorist. This is a dialogue with a murderer."
The President of Ukraine states that they will never legally recognize their occupied territory as part of Russia. He is also willing to discuss the issue of occupied territories as part of a diplomatic settlement after Ukraine's accession to NATO.
Zelensky also mentions a possible agreement with the U.S. regarding Ukraine's rare earth minerals. He notes that Ukraine has enough titanium for 40 years of industry. However, any economic agreement must be accompanied by security guarantees from the U.S.
