Zelensky listens to reports from Syrsky and Umierov on the situation at the front and support from partners.


The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, listened to reports from the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrsky, and the Minister of Defense, Rustem Umierov. Zelensky noted that Syrsky reported on the situation at the front, particularly regarding the Donetsk direction and the Kursk operation. The President thanked all Ukrainian units that steadfastly and effectively destroy the occupiers, repel assaults, and defend our positions.
The Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Umierov, reported on his meetings with partners and negotiations regarding new support packages. According to the President's statement, Poland continues to participate in the Czech initiative regarding ammunition and is also preparing support packages. Quick supplies of air defense systems, IRIS-T systems, and ammunition for them are expected from Germany. The Netherlands has also expressed readiness to invest in Ukrainian arms production. The Nordic and Baltic countries have announced their full support, which means new packages, new investments in arms production, and new political initiatives to strengthen Ukraine and Europe.
Zelensky also thanked all partners and announced a planned visit to Saudi Arabia.
The President stated that during this week, Russia carried out hundreds of attacks on Ukraine using various types of weapons, including guided aerial bombs, strike drones, and missiles of different types.
