Hryhorii Baklanov, known for his role in the series 'Spijmati Kaidasha', recorded his voice for 23 characters in the Ukrainian video game Stalker 2. He announced this on his Facebook.
The actor received an invitation to audition for the game more than a year ago. After a long wait and an extended recording session in the studio, he became a part of this long-awaited project.
'I am extremely happy to be part of this world and to have given my voice to 23 characters,' the actor emphasized.
The game Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl, set in the Chernobyl zone, was released on November 20. After the second disaster, even more anomalies, mutants, and mysterious phenomena appeared. Players can develop the plot in any direction, so the final outcome will depend on their decisions. It takes more than 35 hours to complete the main storyline.
Due to high demand for the game Stalker 2, some Ukrainian internet providers reported temporary network outages due to infrastructure overload.
Stalker 2 has become one of the best-selling games in the world. The game, developed by the Ukrainian studio GSC Game World, received recognition from gamers and critics, making it into the top sellers on the Steam platform.
It is also worth noting that the release of the Ukrainian video game Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl received support from politicians. Members of Parliament welcomed the development team at a session of the Verkhovna Rada, and leaders from the Ministry of Digital Transformation and the President's Office also expressed their support for the project.
