Hero of Oleksey Dovbush died in the Pokrovsky direction
On October 18, in the Pokrovsky direction, military drone operator Viktor Stelmakh with the call sign Saba, who served in the 68th separate Jaeger brigade named after Oleksey Dovbush, died. This was reported by the brigade on Facebook.
Stelmakh joined the army in the early days of the great war, initially serving in the infantry, and later became a drone operator. He was one of the founders of the Dovbush Hornets unit and trained others. Even after being discharged from the army, he returned, wishing to fight against the injustice and cruelty brought by the Russian occupiers. During his service, he destroyed more than 500 occupiers. The brigade published a fragment of a video story about repelling the Russian offensive on the Kupyansk-Lyman line, in which the main figure was Viktor Stelmakh.
Also, the commander of the strike drone company of the 68th brigade, Andriy Onistrat, confirmed the information about the death of Viktor Stelmakh and said that he came to the war from the Rivne region. He was an advanced pilot and trained a large number of pilots. The company commander considered him a true patriot and hero. He even asked the brigade commander to award Stelmakh the Order of Hero of Ukraine.
