UAF will receive Ukrainian buggy "Varan": main advantages of the vehicle.

Ukraine adopted the locally manufactured buggy "Varan" into service
The Ministry of Defense approved the production and supply of the Ukrainian buggy "Varan". This high-mobility vehicle is designed to perform various tasks such as transporting military personnel, evacuating the wounded, delivering ammunition, and much more.
The "Varan" buggy was designed and manufactured at a domestic enterprise. It features a strong frame for use in tough conditions. The back of the buggy is equipped with a powerful turbo-diesel engine and an automatic 5-speed gearbox. Most of the components and mechanisms of this vehicle are made from parts of well-known global manufacturers, reported the Ministry of Defense.
It is noted that the idea of the "Varan" was developed by an engineer with many years of experience in car repair and operation. The general requirements for the buggy were set by the military: fast, maneuverable, easy to repair, with a low profile and high mobility.
"This buggy weighs just over one ton and can carry 500 kg of cargo or tow a trailer up to 300 kg. Its tank allows traveling 200 km on difficult terrain. On a sandy surface, the "Varan" reaches speeds of over 100 km/h. During testing, the buggy never overturned," said representatives of the Ministry of Defense.
