The AFU occupied two more settlements in the Kursk region.

During the Kursk operation, the Ukrainian army occupied two more settlements in the territory of the Russian Federation. According to the monitoring group DeepState, Ukrainian troops continue to advance in the northern direction, capturing the villages of Vitryano, Durovka, and part of Zhuravli.
While Ukrainian troops are conducting operations in the Kursk region, the Russian army has launched counteroffensive actions in the Kursk region, capturing Snagost and neighboring settlements and continuing to advance towards Lyubimovka, which is under Ukrainian control.
It is also worth noting that Ukrainian troops successfully breached the Russian defense in other sections of the border in the Kursk region, penetrating several kilometers into the territory of the Russian Federation.
President Zelensky stated that Ukraine had anticipated such actions by the Russians. He noted that the Russian troops launched counteroffensive actions according to Ukraine's plan.
Let us recall that Russian President Putin ordered the expulsion of the Ukrainian army from the Kursk region by October 1st.
Analysts from DeepState point out that the situation on the left flank of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region is escalating. Russian troops are actively assaulting the Kursk region, ferrying armored vehicles across rivers, including the Seym and other smaller rivers.
