Zhumadilov has left the position of CEO of the 'State Operator of the Rear'.


The CEO of the 'State Operator of the Rear', Arsen Zhumadilov, is resigning from his position effective March 6. This was reported by the procurement agency of the Ministry of Defense (DOT).
This decision was supported by the supervisory board. Until a new leader is appointed, Andriy Sozanskij will temporarily serve as the director. The agency's team thanked Zhumadilov for his effective leadership and trust in the team.
Sozanskij, who will temporarily lead the agency, has been a part of the team since its establishment and has substantial experience in procurement and logistics. Zhumadilov had led the agency for some Time.
The head of the Defense Procurement Agency, Marina Bezrukova, is also being dismissed, and no other leader will be appointed in her place. The management of the agency is temporarily entrusted to Arsen Zhumadilov.
The latest scandal arose due to a personal conflict between the leadership of the Ministry of Defense and the head of the Defense Procurement Agency, Marina Bezrukova. Responsible deputies and allies of the Minister of Defense criticized the agency's work.
Marina Bezrukova was appointed as the head of the agency last year and has many years of experience in managing supply chains and developing partnerships with foreign companies. During her year of work, she became familiar with the specifics of the arms business.
The Minister of Defense proposed that Arsen Zhumadilov head the agency, as it has similar activities to the 'State Operator of the Rear'. Zhumadilov will temporarily perform the duties of the agency's head while he is on vacation.
The issue of Marina Bezrukova's dismissal arose last summer but was decided to extend the contract until January.
