The Presidents Discussed a Peaceful Path for Ukraine and Russia
During the hour-long conversation, Trump and Zelensky discussed a joint path for Ukraine and Russia. The US President wants to end the war in Ukraine permanently. According to Levitt, Trump proposed to transfer Ukrainian power plants, including nuclear power plants, into the ownership of the USA to ensure the safety of these facilities.
Zelensky Requested Additional Missiles for Population Protection
Zelensky requested additional surface-to-air missiles for population protection, to which Trump agreed to consider this issue and engage European partners.
