Land prices in Ukraine hit new record: detailed market analysis.


In October 2024, the average cost of a hectare of agricultural land in Ukraine was 51,194 hryvnias, which is 2,231 hryvnias more than in September.
This was reported by Forex.ua with reference to Opendatabot.
Since the beginning of 2024, the price has increased by almost 6,000 hryvnias - in January the average cost was 45,232 hryvnias per hectare. The highest rate of the year was recorded in July - 51,222 hryvnias, while in February prices fell to a minimum of 43,806 hryvnias per hectare.
The highest prices were recorded in the following regions:
- Kiev region - 140,490 UAH/ha
- Lviv region - 131,375 UAH/ha
- Ivano-Frankivsk region - 113,878 UAH/ha
- Chernivtsi region - 87,942 UAH/ha
The lowest figures are observed in:
- Mykolaiv region - 28,987 UAH/ha
- Chernihiv region - 32,605 UAH/ha
- Odessa region - 33,800 UAH/ha
- Sumy region - 33,887 UAH/ha
The difference between the highest and the lowest land cost in the regions of Ukraine exceeds 111,000 hryvnias per hectare, indicating a significant regional differentiation of prices in the land market.
